Wasps are major characters of the film. Becoming the ants’ enemies to their allies and even friends.
Wasps are frequently seen throughout the movie. At first, they are shown to be enemies of ants, but they ally together in order to stop The Cloud Breather from destroying their land forever. They all get their happily ever after and live in peace as neighbors of the ant colony.
Personality of the Local Wasps[]
Initially, most of the wasps were ferocious and hungry hunters. They hunted as a group and dieted on anything smaller than them, which included ants and their harvest (caterpillars, etc.). After the Destroyer threatened to annihilate both the ants and the wasps as well, the wasps stopped their hunting and diet upon the ant colony and became strong allies with them. This resulted in wasps becoming more tolerant upon the ant colony.
